Tom Read and his wife, Linda Bruhn, moved to Texada Island from Los Angeles, California in 2000. They live on a rural acreage with a dog, cat, some chickens and honeybees. Tom and Linda currently earn their livelihood as real estate agents, and are also deeply involved in their community. Their website is www.texadarealestate.com, and Tom’s blog is called Tom’s Texada Journal, a chronicle of various events and observations about life on the island.
